My parents fostered a love of travel in me at an early age. We took long summer trips each summer, both to Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Colorado. During the winter of 1970 while I was in College, I traveled to Venezuela for a three-week vacation. I fell in love with traveling to nice warm beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. It was at this time that I started my touring of the United States. I have traveled and toured through 47 states. From California to Cape Cod. From Florida to Washington DC and to Seattle Washington. I have enjoyed seeking out historical monuments and battle grounds.
In 1973 I made my first trip to England and Wales. This trip kicked off a period of traveling that still hasn’t ended yet. The following years I spent touring Europe via London and Paris. Then it was off to Egypt and explored the Nile River with its fertile banks. First spending three amazing weeks touring Upper and Lower Egypt with Giza’s colossal Pyramids and the Great Sphinx as well as Luxor’s hieroglyph lined Karnak Temple and Valley of the Kings tombs. I visited the capital, Cairo which is home to Ottoman landmarks like Muhammad Ali Mosque and the Egyptian Museum. From Luxor I then traveled to Aswan visited the Nile River sights and the stone quarry’s where I observed where the ancient Egyptians carved out the tall Obelisks that were erected outside the Temples at Luxor and Karnak.
I have traveled through the Sahara desert in Tunisia and visited the Mediterranean beaches of De Jerba off the coast of Tunisia. I made business trips to Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and seen the many sights and adventures that these cities have to offer. We spent the next three weeks touring around Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and France. I have traveled to Hong Kong, Beijing to climb the Great Wall of China and explore the Forbidden City. We have traveled to Xi’an and experienced seeing the sights of the buried Terracotta Soldiers and Shanghai to experience the beautiful sights, sounds and food of China. We have traveled many times to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, Cancun, Mexico, Rivera Maya and Jamaica.
