Walt Disney World has 4 theme parks and 2 water parks. Totaling 30,000 square feet of land, Disney World has it all! They offer more than 25 different hotels to choose from, more than 200 places to choose food from, over 50 rides and countless attractions! There is something for everyone at Disneyworld. Whether you like to be in the Safari, Beach Club, Cinderella’s Castle, Water Parks, Fireworks (especially Epcot’s nightly show!) or relax by the pool.
The four parks are:
Epcot – Travel around the world with different countries to eat, shop and explore. Epcot consists of two themed areas, Future World and World Showcase (different countries around the world). Future World features attractions that focus on energy, communication, the land and our environment, the ocean, imagination, transportation and space exploration.
Magic Kingdom – The “HUB” of Disney World. The Magic Kingdom is divided into six distinct areas (lands), arranged in a spoke-like formation, all meeting at the top of Main Street U.S.A. right in front of Cinderella Castle. The six lands consist of Main Street U.S.A., Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, and Adventureland.
Animal Kingdom – Animal Kingdom's 500 acres are home to some 1,700 animals representing 250 different species throughout the park. A ride on the Kilimanjaro Safari will give you a chance to see many of them as they take you through the African Savannah. Stay in hotels here, and you could be greeted by a Giraffe in the morning!
Hollywood Studios – Toy Story Land, themed to the Pixar film franchise, is the newest land with two new child-friendly rides. That’s a warm-up for the opening of the Star Wars–themed land, named Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, by the end of 2019, with two major rides and at least one restaurant serving blue milk.
Disneyland – California
Disneyland has grown to eight different lands, with over 40 attractions designed to appeal to guests of all ages, 3 hotel choices, and covers over 85 acres!
